Aviation
Although my primary interests are maritime history, I've long had an interest in aviation, being raised relatively close to the famous RAF station Biggin Hill, in Kent. Aviation photography can be challenging, particularly when trying to capture aircraft in their element. Composition is an important consideration, especially if, as I do, you want to avoid the boringly repetitive shot of a civil airline coming in to land or just taking off!
